Our Story
Honey was on my mind for a long time. Pure honey is hard to find. The honey that is truly pure is often very expensive, and a lot of the honey on shop shelves is hard to trust.
So I set out to find a good source of honey, have it tested in a laboratory, and sell it at a fair price with a small profit.
The nuts came from a simple thought. Most people do not eat honey by itself, but they do eat nuts. So I put the two together in one jar. You reach for the nuts, and the honey comes with them. The honey adds its own taste, and every spoon feels like a premium treat.
Every jar is packed by hand, in glass, with nuts chosen one by one. Nahal is the Arabic word for the bee, and we try to keep our work as honest as theirs.
"And your Lord inspired to the bee, 'Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct. Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you].' There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought."
